Albertis Spain will stop accepting cards for toll payment

As of 1st January 2025, the toll operator Autopistas (Abertis Group) will no longer accept the DKV Card as a means of payment. Abertis announced that will stop accepting magnetic stripe cards on its motorways in Spain for all fleet card issuers.

The following motorways in Spain are affected:AP-68 Bilbao – Zaragoza

• AP-71 León – Astorga
• AP-6 Villalba – Adanero
• AP-51 Villacastín – Ávila
• AP-61 San Rafael – Segovia
• C-32 Castelldefels – El Vendrell

IMPORTANT: Trucks already had to switch to the DKV BOX SELECT or DKV BOX EUROPE, which will continue to be accepted.

Please consider the following toll boxes as an alternative to the card:

• The DKV BOX IBERICA as an alternative (ES, PT) for light vehicles
• The DKV BOX IBERICA is the fleet version (motorcycles, cars, vans) of the identical DKV BOX SELECT VIA-T ONLY (truck)
