Starting May 1, vignette prices for vehicles up to 3.5 tons in Bulgaria will increase, while toll fees for heavy goods vehicles and buses will see their first hike on April 1, followed by a second adjustment (additional 10%) scheduled for 1 September 2025.
The annual vignette will now cost 97 BGN (49.60 EUR), the three-month vignette 54 BGN (27.61 EUR), the monthly vignette 30 BGN (15.34 EUR), the weekly vignette 15 BGN (7.67 EUR), and the weekend vignette 10 BGN (5.12 EUR).
Please be aware that the Ministry of Regional Development reported improvements in toll administration and a new control system. Daily checks now cover 200 to 250 heavy trucks, with 4,399 vehicles inspected in a single week. Authorities issued 389 fines for obscured license plates and 193 tickets for prior violations.
