Closure of the Mont Blanc Tunnel

In order to carry out the complete renovation of the road with conservation works along the entire length of the tunnel, the Mont Blanc Tunnel will be completely closed to traffic from 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, to 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2022.

We recommend using the alternative routes below:

  • Frejus tunnel where you can pay the toll with the Frejus card or Affinity-DKV card
  • Grand Saint Bernard tunnel where you can pay the toll directly with your Affinity-DKV card
  • Alpine Railway Motorway
  • Only for 3.5 ton vehicles: Col des Montets pass
