Belgium: Increase in road tax rates

In Belgium, road tax rates have been increased and will come into force from July 1, 2023 and applies to all vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tons.

The average rate increase for vehicles with a tonnage of more than 32 tones is:
• 6.72% – Flanders
• 6.84% – Brussels (motorways)
• 6.37% – Wallonia
