Slovakia’s tolling system, called MYTO, applies to vehicles and coaches with a total authorized weight > 3.5 t on a total length of highways and expressways of 2,600 km. With this tolling system, depending on the distance traveled on a certain stretch of road, the toll costs are fully settled electronically with the SKY TOLL device (on-board device/OBU) and invoiced directly through DKV – through the Pre-Pay procedure or Post-Pay.
The Sky Toll device can be purchased against a guarantee paid to the toll operator in Slovakia, in the amount of approximately 50 euros per OBU.
The guarantee payment will be visible on the next DKV invoice, and the guarantee will be returned when the device is returned in good condition.
To recover the VAT related to the road tax paid for this country, the invoices of the road tax supplier, “NARODNA”, must be sent to your collaborator: Remobis/Affinity.
