The “Danube Bridge” is closed for 4 hours during August 28-31

Starting August 28 (Monday) to August 31 (Thursday), from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., traffic on the Danube Bridge near Ruse will be restricted.

Passage in both directions through the Ruse Danube Bridge Border Checkpoint will be suspended due to urgent emergency repair activities on the joints and concrete panels of the bridge. The restriction will be applied for all types of vehicles, according to the Bulgarian media.

The recommendation from the Romanian and Bulgarian authorities is to reschedule your crossing to a different time frame.
