In Spain, as in other European countries, there are some gas station networks where payment by DKV card is made at a list price, you will pay a different price than the one displayed at the pumps. These operators are: REPSOL (SOLRED), VALCARCE, PETREM, ANDAMUR, ONTURTLE, GLOBALTANK, MENDIONDO and GALP.
For Easygas and BP networks, the prices displayed at the pump are the ones you will also find on the invoice issued by DKV.
How do you pay road taxes in Spain?
We remind you that the road or tunnel fee can be paid with DKV CARD, DKV BOX EUROPE or DKV BOX SELECT.
Fees for the use of guarded car parks can be paid without cash with the DKV CARD. Fuel cards are not accepted on motorways operated by the ABERTIS group.

How to claim a refund of excise duty on diesel
You can claim a refund of excise duty on diesel paid in Spain after obtaining a registration code. Reimbursement is possible for vehicles with a total permissible weight of at least 7.5 tones.
You can request a refund of the excise duty on diesel only if the refueling has been paid with a special fuel card (on which the registration code will be written).
