Mont Blanc Tunnel will be totally closed for a period of 9 consecutive weeks, starting on Monday 16 October, 8 a.m.
Re-opening to traffic is planned by Monday 18 December 2023, 10 p.m.
During this period, please use the recommended alternative routes.
• Deviations (see chart below):
– Trucks/buses: please use the Frejus tunnel or the St. Bernard. The subscription card (Frejus-Card) entitles to the immediate discount of the single journey of both tunnels.
– Passenger cars: next to the Frejus tunnel and St. Bernard, you can also use Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard or Col des Montets (closed in case of snow)

Starting May 1, vignette prices for vehicles up to 3.5 tons in Bulgaria will increase, while toll fees for heavy goods vehicles and buses will see their first hike on April 1, followed by a second adjustment (additional 10%) scheduled for 1 September 2025.
