Mont Blanc Tunnel will be totally closed for a period of 9 consecutive weeks, starting on Monday 16 October, 8 a.m.
Re-opening to traffic is planned by Monday 18 December 2023, 10 p.m.
During this period, please use the recommended alternative routes.
• Deviations (see chart below):
– Trucks/buses: please use the Frejus tunnel or the St. Bernard. The subscription card (Frejus-Card) entitles to the immediate discount of the single journey of both tunnels.
– Passenger cars: next to the Frejus tunnel and St. Bernard, you can also use Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard or Col des Montets (closed in case of snow)
